What would you do if someone you loved needed a life-saving drug you couldn’t afford? Would you steal it? Stay within the law? Find another way?
Heinz Dilemma is a short interactive video that invites viewers to step into a classic moral thought experiment—first posed by psychologist Lawrence Kohlberg, based on the work of Jean Piaget. You’ll be asked to choose from a set of actions, and based on your response, the video “diagnoses” your current stage of moral development: pre-conventional, conventional, or post-conventional.
Simple in form but rich in implication, the project playfully tests how we justify difficult decisions, and what this says about our internal moral compass.
